Ed Miliband could create wedding photo book

Labour leader Ed Miliband's single status has been much talked about since his rise to power, and now he is tying the knot he may wish to record the event in a photo book.

Miliband will marry his long-term partner Justine Thornton in a civil ceremony today (May 27th) in front of just 50 friends and family members.

The celebrations will be held at the Langar Hotel in Nottingham and after the service guests will be treated to drinks and canapés and speeches from both the bride and groom.

And while there will be no pictures of a best-man's speech to put in a photobook, as Miliband has opted not to have a supporter, the couple are sure to have plenty of shots of their two children and other guests which they will want to keep for the future.

The wedding will also prove a good opportunity to get some relaxed shots of Ed and his brother David.

Miliband is the first major party leader to live with his family out of wedlock, however, when he became leader he said he would not be forced into marriage.

"We'll get married because we want to get married and love each other very much, no other reason," he said at the time.
