With the mercury hitting 22 degrees Celsius in some parts of the UK this weekend it seems that summer is well and truly on the way.

Parks and beaches were filled with families and friends having fun in the sun, offering some great photo opportunities which could make an excellent addition to next year's personalised calendar.

Considering April is normally more associated with showers than sunshine, a nice shot of the kids enjoying ice cream in the park, or a family trip to a beauty spot won't fail to put a smile on your face when you flip the calendar over to April next year!

If you start now, you might be able to get pictures from each month of the year to put together for next year's calendar. It would make a lovely Christmas gift for friends and family.
