Funeral photobook transforms mourning into celebration of life

It has been said that people face two certainties in life – death and taxes.

People will never be comfortable with the idea of taxes, but death is slowly becoming more of a celebration of life than a marking of tragic loss.

This is something Green Meadows Memories is hoping to encourage through its funeral photobook, Enhanced News Online reported.

The book programme, which is the brainchild of Unibind, is aimed at enabling undertakers and owners of crematoriums to create a tasteful and moving keepsake which can combine a funeral guestbook, important documents and photos of their loved one.

Kim Stacey, CEO at the Association of Women Funeral Directors, told the news provider: "What makes this a desirable keepsake for families is that Green Meadows Memories have taken the time to do the research and have created the Memory Book, a beautiful hardbound book of photos that families can treasure for generations."

She added that it was a good example of a memory book "done right."

Funeral photography is a service which is growing in popularity around the UK, and it has been popular in places such as The Netherlands for some time.
