Cristiano Ronaldo looked every bit the doting dad when he joined family and friends for his son's first birthday party this week.

The Portuguese football player and his family also organised for little Cristiano to be baptised to honour the occasion, alongside his older cousin Denis.

The event took place under the tightest security at an air base in Portugal, but snappers caught shots of Ronaldo's girlfriend and sister heading to the event, as well as pictures of personalised cakes for both Ronaldo junior and his cousin.

To mark the occasion and match the theme of the personalised cake, friends and family could also have bought little Cristiano personalised gifts.

Real Madrid footballer Ronaldo surprised the world last year when it was announced that he had become a father. The identity of the mother was unknown, and it was revealed that the star would have sole guardianship of his son, with some help from family.
