Emma Watson has come a long way since the very first Harry Potter movies, as is evident in her latest photo shoot for Harper's Bazaar UK.

From life as a teenage movie star to fashion muse, the 21-year-old has gone from strength to strength and is set to be one of the most successful British actresses of her generation.

It's clear from the latest shots that she is leaving behind the Hogwarts world of ghouls and demons and embarking on life as a young woman.

The images are likely to go into her own personal memory book as the young star looks breathtaking in dresses by Yves Saint Laurent and Emilio Pucci.

With all this attention, it would be easy to be caught up in the crazy world of Hollywood, but not Watson, who has her feet securely tied to the ground.

She told the fashion magazine that LA scared her.

She said: "I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad, I will absolutely lose it."

In among fashion shoots and movies, she is hoping to complete her university studies in the next academic year.
