Former Spice Girl cum fashionista Victoria Beckham has positively swooned with motherly delight at the birth of her first daughter, tweeting that baby Harper was the most beautiful baby girl she had ever seen.

With a statement like that, it's hard not to expect her and her husband David Beckham to be in the midst of taking endless pictures for a photobook or two.

Who knows, it may even prove to be a useful portfolio for Harper as she begins a career as a baby model.

Mrs Beckham, still affectionately known as Posh in the media, went on to tweet: "I have fallen in love all over again!!!"

She added: "We all feel so blessed and the boys all love their baby sister so much."

Harper Seven is the famous couple's first daughter and joins their brood of three boys, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

The birth was announced via Facebook by David who said: "I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham."
