Add humour to your photobook with the leisure dive

Photobooks might prove to be an altogether humorous affair if the latest photography craze engulfs the nation.

Hot on the back of planking, where people lie down flat in a public place – the weirder, the better – the "leisure dive" sees people jump off a diving board and pose midair as if it were natural.

There is one particular pose that has come to dominate this new photo craze.

It involves placing one hand on the hip and another resting behind the head with a featureless expression as if to say this is just a regular everyday thing.

Of course, this only works within the confines of a swimming pool as the diving board projects participants into the air and the pool water below cushions the inevitable descent back to earth.

The more adventurous have added to the mix by posing in, for example, a suit, and accessorising with a newspaper, tennis racket and even a croquet mallet.
