Lady Gaga teases the world about her upcoming photobook

Lady Gaga has been dropping some tantalising nuggets of information about her much-anticipated upcoming photobook with the US fashion photographer Terry Richardson.

The high-fashion songstress recently said that the 350-page black and white and colour photobook was taken over a ten month period, where Richardson was given unprecedented and exclusive access into her much discussed private and professional life.

Speaking to MTV, the global superstar said: "I didn’t hold anything back from Terry. He was with me every minute, every moment.

"He has photographs of me waking up in the morning, brushing my teeth, in the bathroom, in the bathtub. And the thing about Terry, if you know anything about his photography, is that nothing is staged."

She added that one of the things that attracted her to collaborating with Richardson on this new book of photos was that "he thinks everything is beautiful" and that nothing he ever does is staged. She wanted the pictures to be a honest portrait of her life.
The working relationship has been so productive that Gaga and Richardson have since become very close friends.

Expected out in November, the photobook is already generating a lot of excitement in the entertainment business and fashion world.

Although they have yet to release any preview images, it is assumed that this unique pairing of the new queen of pop with everyone's favourite fashion photographer means the shots will be typically risqué and groundbreaking.

After all, Gaga is known for being as much a fashion provocateur as she is known as being a musician. With flamboyant outfits ranging from "that" meat dress, a see-through leopard print outfit and a plastic black and transparent top and skirt, the art house photographs will invariably capture her "give anything a go" attitude with absolute candour.

Meanwhile, Richardson's skills and work as a photographer have also been at the centre of one storm or another throughout his professional career. In some ways, Richardson matches Gaga's penchant for pushing the boundaries with his own equally provocative way of working.

Nevertheless, he remains a firm favourite of the stars and with this new partnership with the singer; he is set to cement his position as one of the most sought after photographers in the business.
