50 Cent builds up his photobook


It's not unusual for celebs to have their fingers in several pies at once and rapper 50 Cent is no exception, having turned his hand to photography.

And not content with simply building a personal photobook, the musician has opted to showcase his skills in a spread for US magazine Smooth.

In his role as special guest photographer he shot a spread which involved no fewer than 14 models and took four days to complete.

Speaking to Allhiphop.com, he said: "I'm constantly in front of the camera, so it's a natural progression... There's a little more artistic integrity involved in this project than the usual issues... The warrior princess theme, it's about making women strong... like Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider."

As well as getting behind the camera, 50 Cent will be stepping in front of it recently to star in the film The Frozen Ground.

If you want to follow in 50 Cent's footsteps and embrace photography as a hobby, try and get your hands on some decent kit and try to take as wide a variety of images as possible to see where your skills lie.
