Get photos off Facebook and into a photobook

Facebook has become the world's largest photo library, hosting around four per cent of all photographs in the world, it has been claimed, accounting for around 140 billion images in total.

And this number is only set to get larger in the future as the social networking site's 750 million plus users continue to add their snaps from holidays, nights out and special occasions in their thousands.

It is easy to see the appeal of uploading images to Facebook, its easy, all your friends can see them and there's a lot of fun to be had in tagging your pals in embarrassing shots, however, it is always nice to have a physical copy of the images too – something that collects all your favourite pics together into something a bit more special than an online album.

A photobook is a great way to store the pictures that mean a lot to you – why not take some of your favourite images from Facebook and categories them into different photobooks for the various periods of your life such as university, holidays and family gatherings?

Or you can make a memory book which combines photos with other complementary mementoes like ticket stubs or postcards. Rifling through a carefully compiled memory book in years to come will be much more satisfying than clicking next on Facebook.
