Travel snaps on display in London


The best travel snaps from an array of photographers' photobooks will be on display at the Royal Geographical Society in London on Sunday at the Travel Photographer of the Year Festival.

As well as seeing examples of people's work, people will be given the opportunity to learn how to improve their own holiday shots thanks to a line-up of speakers from the worlds of photography, TV, travel and exploration.

There will also be pro photographers on hand to share their top equipment tips and tell people about their own experiences.

Guests attending on Sunday September 25th will include explorer Julian Paren, panoramic photographer Nick Meers and award-winning photographer Steve Bloom.

For those who want several days' worth of expert photobook advice the festival also takes place on Sunday October 2nd when nature and extreme wild photography will be discussed as well as Sunday October 16th when the focus will be on people and culture.
