People who want their photobooks of the exceptional day to really shine might want to take some tips from the recent nuptials of Kim Kardashian and her basketball husband Kris Humphries, which was as spectacular and over-the-top as celebrity weddings can get.

According to E! Online, over eight million pictures were taken from the crack of dawn to the wee small hours of the morning of Kim and Kris’ wedding. It'll make selecting those all-important images that end up in the wedding photobooks a slightly longer process than normal, but it's something that couples should take inspiration from.

Not eight million pictures, mind you, that's a dramatic number to say the least, but in asking your photographer to take plenty of snaps – more so than usual – you're likely to have a better range to select from.
