Get tips for your photobook at the UK's longest running photography festival

The UK's longest running photography festival returns for the 21st time this year, buoyed on by generous donations from renowned artists from around the world.

Over 40 cultural pioneers, including photographers like Martin Parr, John Bulmer, Shelby Lee Adams, and Simon Roberts, are auctioning their work off to help raise vital cash for the Hereford Photography Festival.

The festival will feature over 40 exhibitions from 75 artists, giving aspiring photographers plenty of inspiration for improving their photobooks.

Simon Bainbridge, editor of the British Journal of Photography, was approached Hereford Photography Festival to co-curate this year's exhibition at Hereford Museum and Art Gallery.

Mr Bainbridge said: "I’m excited to be working with them in this their twenty-first year, on an exhibition that will respond to the idea of movement; this year’s festival theme.

"Work will focus on the strategies contemporary photographers employ to capture everyday life as it passes across their frame and photographers will be selected from the UK and throughout the world."

The exhibition runs from October 28th until November 26th.
