Photo Website Launches Unlimited Online Backup Service
A website specialising in bespoke photographic products has launched an online backup service to consumers; ensuring that they need never lose any important documents saved on their computer, whilst also allowing them to access their entire hard-drive from anywhere in the world.
MyMemory.com Backup, launched by photo website www.MyMemory.com, aims to provide computer users with a simple, affordable means of backing up their computer files. An online service available via subscription, MyMemory.com Backup automatically scans computer hard drives to back up computer files; also making them accessible from anywhere.
The service constantly monitors users’ computers for new files and changes, allowing users to restore files – even deleted files – quickly and easily. It’s secure, easy to use and quick to setup; with unlimited online storage space as standard.
The service can also help users sync files across computers, with any files placed in the ‘MyMemory.com Backup ProSuite’ automatically shared between all chosen computers. Using cloud technology, the MyMemory.com Backup service instantly makes files saved on the user’s computer accessible from anywhere in the world with an internet connection; meaning that files can be edited, saved or shared no matter what computer the person is using.
As well as providing a successful range of personalised photo books, MyMemory.com provides users with a secure hub within which to store all of their digital photographs. Storing photographs on-site is free of charge and photos can subsequently be accessed via the internet from anywhere in the world, meaning that albums are always just one click away.
Users storing albums on the site can simply send friends and family a URL to share their albums, or send individual photographs directly. The site even allows users to share their albums via social networking sites.
MyMemory.com Backup also provides added bonuses to iPad or iPhone users; allowing them to stream any music or video files on any of their computers straight on to their devices. This will allow users to access their entire music and video collection wherever they are; with no need to sync with iTunes.
Rebecca Huggler, Co-Founder of MyMemory.com, commented on the launch of MyMemory.com Backup:
“In today’s day and age, we tend to store our whole lives on our computer; whether that be our photographs, work or even our calendars. Unfortunately, computers can crash or ‘catch’ viruses, taking with them all of our treasured and important files; and all too often people fail to provide themselves with adequate backup or security.
“We therefore looked into ways to provide an easy, safe, and affordable solution for anyone looking to backup their computer files, and MyMemory.com Backup was born. We’re very proud of the fact that not only does it automatically scan your hard drive for new files to back-up, but it allows you to access the entire contents of your computer wherever you are in the world; making computing that much easier.”
She continued:
“Losing your computer files really can cause some irreparable damage, not to mention being incredibly frustrating; so we’d recommend that anyone with files they don’t want to lose back them up- before it’s too late!”
