Photographers the world over are being called forward to submit their entries for the Blurb photobook.

Snappers who enter the competition to be a part of Photography Book Now could be in with a chance of winning a $25,000 overall prize, as well as $5,000 for each category, including fine art, documentary, travel and student.

Now in its fourth year, the competition celebrates the best in self-published photobooks and the photographic talent behind them, the British Journal of Photography reported.

Entries will be judged by a panel of experts led by Darius Himes.

Mr Himes told the news provider: "Photography Book Now offers photographers from all backgrounds and from around the world an incredible opportunity to showcase their best work in book form. Submissions from the last three years have set the bar high, and our jurors are looking forward to seeing even more inspiring work this year."”

Professional photographers and those studying on accredited photography courses are eligible to enter the competition, which will close for entries in July.
