Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon announced yesterday that they had settled on names for their new twin babies – Moroccan Scott and Monroe.

Friends and family of the famous couple are sure to want to shower the new arrivals with gifts now they are officially part of the world, and what could be nicer than personalised gifts bearing the original names of the babies?

Little girl Monroe has been named after Hollywood icon Marilyn, so perhaps she could be given glamour-inspired pieces in honour of her namesake.

Moroccan Scott was given his name for sentimental reasons. The couple has a Moroccan room in their home in New York, and it is the room where America's Got Talent presenter Nick proposed to singer Mariah.

Yesterday the couple asked fans on Twitter to guess the name of their children, by hinting that the names both began with M.

The twins were born in hospital in Santa Monica, California, on Saturday.
